Your South Shore Concert Calendar: July Through Labor Day and Beyond
South Lake Tahoe's South Shore comes alive with live music each summer, offering everything from major concerts at Harvey's Outdoor Arena and Tahoe Blue Event Center to free Thursday evening beach concerts at Lakeview Commons.
Where to Catch Live Music on the South Shore This Summer
South Shore's Big Summer (and Fall) of Live Music
If you're planning a Tahoe stay between now and October, build a night out around live music; the South Shore has more outdoor concerts on the calendar this year than almost any other season on record. From lakefront stages to a full-blown amphitheater, here's where to catch a show.

Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harvey's
The marquee venue on the South Shore, this 7,000-seat amphitheater at Harvey's Lake Tahoe runs its Summer Concert Series from June through September, with the lake and mountains as a backdrop. Confirmed 2026 dates include:
Koe Wetzel — July 24
Tedeschi Trucks Band — August 9
Train & Barenaked Ladies — August 25
Jack Johnson — September 6
New acts get added throughout the season, so it's worth checking laketahoearena.com before you lock in dates.

Tahoe Blue Event Center (formerly Stateline Event Center)

Just up the road, the venue longtime locals know as the Stateline Event Center — now the Tahoe Blue Event Center at Harrah's hosts a mix of concerts, comedy, and Tahoe Knight Monsters hockey year-round. Coming up: a Gene Simmons Band weekend with Sebastian Bach and Lita Ford (July 18–19), with more shows added regularly at tahoeblueeventcenter.com.
Live at Lakeview (the beach concert series)

Every Thursday from late June through late August, Lakeview Commons turns into a free, all-ages beach party. This is the series' twelfth season, running roughly 4:30–8:30pm with two live acts per night spanning reggae, folk, funk, Latin fusion, and Americana, plus food trucks and a beer and wine garden overlooking the lake. Parking is tight, so biking, walking, or rideshare is the move; there's also a free weekly bike valet benefiting a different local nonprofit each week. Full lineup at liveatlakeview.com.
The Hangar

For a smaller, indoor-outdoor room with a heavier touring-band and jam band bent, The Hangar has one of the busiest calendars on the South Shore this year: RJD2, Molly Tuttle, Old 97's, Built to Spill, and Allen Stone are all on the books through August. Doors are typically 6pm with music at 7pm, and on-site parking runs $10.
And for something smaller

Not every night needs to be a big stage. Noel's Coffee & Apothecary in Stateline shifts from coffee shop by day to an intimate speakeasy-style bar with live music on weekend evenings, a good pick if you want a low-key set with a cocktail in hand. A few other South Shore spots worth a wander for solo acts and local bands include McP's Taphouse Grill and South of North; tahoemusic.live keeps an up-to-date running list of who's playing where.
Planning around it
Between Harvey's, Tahoe Blue Event Center, Lakeview Commons, and The Hangar, there's live music somewhere on the South Shore most nights right through Labor Day, with the calendar thinning out, but not disappearing, into September. Big-ticket shows sell out fast, so grab tickets early for anything at the Outdoor Arena, and let the free Thursday beach series be your backup plan.
