Echo View Chalet

The house is cozy, comfortable, and beautifully set in the woods, but not too far from the ski resorts. There are thoughtfully laid out amenities, including toys and games for children which is a nice added touch. Would highly recommend this home for any traveling family to the Tahoe area. What an incredible find! We wanted a home base to show our babies the snow for the first time and this house was so perfect for our two small families. The neighborhood is super quiet and the back of the house and a gorgeous unimpeded view of the snow covered mountains beyond. Having a well stocked, well appointed kitchen like this is a rarity on Airbnb, but was perfect for hosting two full dinners that we made here. The owners have been very thoughtful about hosting for families as there are lots of amenities for children including a really cute room with children's books. We are already looking into dates where we might be able to come stay here during the summer months.

This home was an excellent mountain retreat with lots of light, great amenities, and family friendly. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances to cook anything, and the kids room is stocked with books and toys. Everything worked well and it was so nice to use the garage in the snow. Great stay overall!

Absolutely beautiful stay. The surroundings were breathtaking—nestled in the mountains of Tahoe with stunning views in every direction. Waking up to fresh mountain air, tall pines, and peaceful quiet was unforgettable. A perfect place to relax, recharge, and soak in Tahoe’s natural beauty. Highly recommend!

What a team we had hosting this beautiful property! The team ensured our family was warmly welcomed upon arrival after a very long day drive. We had everything we needed and more. The location is perfect being private, yet close to main areas for convenience. Decor, cleanliness, fully equipped, comfortable, with the most amazing views you can enjoy upon waking up and lounging in the backyard. We will surely miss staying here. We loved our stay here! Beautiful views from every window. Great for kids! My 2 year old daughter loved all the toys and books to play with! It really felt like home : ) close to a lot of activities and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

One of the best homes we've ever stayed at. One of the rare listings whose photos don't quite do it justice. A beautiful home in a peaceful and quiet area. A lot of care was clearly put into the little details to make the place as comfortable as possible. Will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Tahoe.

Amazing home with breathtaking views. Felt right at home. It was very comfortable stay with our 2 month old baby and four year old dog. We will definitely come back again.

Wonderful location, easy to town and all hiking. There is a local market and a great cafe less than 5 minutes away. The home was beautiful and as described, the best part is the backyard with its enchanted views and trees. Exactly the total recharge that we needed.

The home is lovely; located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood, yet very close to the 'Y' and the main highway. Our dog enjoyed the backyard immensely and in the evening we could view the stars while sitting on the deck chairs or around the fit pit. April was extremely responsive to all of our inquiries. The home is well-equipped, and the booklet the homeowner provided useful information regarding home policies and recommended restaurants. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, with extra pillows and superior linens. The bathrooms were clean and lovely and high quality towels were provided. Although we didn't use the children's room, the lovely reading area looked cozy and charming. The mud room is a very nice addition to the home - a place we could hang up our coats and change our shoes in inclement weather. This was our first time staying in this area of South Lake Tahoe and we enjoyed it very much.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful chalet! The setting is absolutely perfect, surrounded by the forest and nature. We saw beautiful birds like the Steller’s jay and White-headed woodpecker. And the impressive boulders at the entrence were beautiful. The home itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. On top of that, the host was exceptionally responsive and so helpful throughout our visit. We can’t wait to come back

Beautiful Airbnb. When you enter the place there is definitely a bit of a wow factor. It’s super well designed with lots of high end touches. The location is beautiful and remote but not a super far drive to south Tahoe’s amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is also a great set up for young kids – they have lots of toys and books that our kids loved. Would definitely recommend staying at this place.

The house and hosts were amazing! It was just the right amount of nature for us, while having all the amenities city folk like us needed! hahah. We love the little details that showed us the hosts cared about our comfort, like quality bath products and a bottle of wine waiting for us on our arrival. We will definitely want to stay here again when we come back to Lake Tahoe! If they’d have us. :)

The Host was exceptionally responsive, the home was exactly as the pictorial depicted. It was equipped with everything we needed, a true home away from home. It was quiet and restful time for us, the views were worth every penny!!! Thanks for a wonderful experienc

Can’t say enough good things about the house, location and hosts ! The house is perfectly located to be close enough to South Tahoe’s main drag, popular trails, Lake Tahoe, Lake Echo, Fallen Leaf, etc while being nestled among boulders and trees in a private & quiet neighborhood. Every single window faces a gorgeous view… none more gorgeous than watching the sunrise trickle down the ridge through the back window in the early AM.Our 14 yr old pup loved the backyard and hanging out in the back porch. The house is super cozy and the most well-equipped home we’ve ever stayed in. Our only regret was not hanging in the house more. April & Viktoria of Modern Mountain Vacations were welcoming, kind, easy to communicate w/ and thoughtful! We were welcomed w/ flowers, wine, an amazing selection of Sparta Candle Company soaps🥰 - it was above and beyond - and very much appreciated! We look forward to coming back and also staying at other MMV locations !

PHENOMENAL!!! We had 4 adults and two young kids. This house was spectacular in every way. The outdoor space was perfect for kids, felt peaceful and resort like. It’s close enough to all the action but far enough where you are in a quiet environment. The house had everything we needed and more. I’ve stayed at a lot of places and by far this was the best experience.

This place took our breath away. My family and I come to Tahoe every summer and this location will be our go to going forward. Everything from the communication from the hosts to the location were off the charts. We love being far enough away from the chaos of town but close enough for amenities. This was ideal on every front. We can’t wait to book our next trip

We had a great stay at this home, it was modern, beautiful, and cozy. we had no issues, everything was as advertised. this home has great views of its natural surroundings and an expansive outdoor space. we would definitely stay here again, and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.
