Inspired by the walkable connection to nature found in Lake Tahoe, this lodge connects you directly to the outdoors. Located right off Ski Run Blvd, Heavenly is just a 5-min drive away, and an easy walk to Lake Tahoe, local trails, and dining. It’s a clean, thoughtful space for responsible renters looking to experience Tahoe.
Lake Trail Lodge is a brand-new, 2,300 sq ft custom home built from the ground up as a serious basecamp for Tahoe. Four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and thoughtfully designed spaces to sleep, fuel, and gear up so your group can hit the ground running from day one.
The open-concept main living area brings everyone together: a fully equipped chef's kitchen with quality appliances and everything you need to prep a real meal, a dining space built for gathering, and a comfortable living room to wind down after long days outside. Our kitchen isn't an afterthought. Its the heart of our home and ready for everything from early-morning coffee before first chair to post-hike meals to refuel for the next day
Each of the four bedrooms has its own bath (plus a shared half bath off the main living area), so whether you're traveling with family or splitting the house between two couples or a crew of friends, everyone has space and privacy.
What sets this home apart is its purpose-built infrastructure for active travel: dedicated ski and bike storage in the garage so your gear stays organized and protected, space to dry out after a powder day, and a smart layout that handles the logistical reality of getting 8 people out the door and onto the mountain.

Guests have full and exclusive access to the entire home, including all 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, the full kitchen, living and dining areas, garage and backyard outdoor space. The ski and bike storage area is fully available in the garage for your gear throughout your stay.
Self check-in with a smart lock makes arrival easy regardless of whenever you arrive to Tahoe!

Ski Run Blvd runs from the base of Heavenly all the way down to Lake Tahoe, and Lake Trail Lodge sits right on that line.
Heavenly is 5 minutes by car or free shuttle. Lake Tahoe, and Ski Run Marina are walkable. The Tahoe Rim Trail connection is close by, and mountain biking access is just minutes away via the Powerline trail. The Nevada border (and Stateline casinos) is minutes away. Most of the South Shore is within 30 minutes. You don't have to work hard to get anywhere from Lake Trail Lodge, which means more time doing the things you actually came here to do!
Lake Trail Lodge is located in the vibrant Ski Run Neighborhood of South Lake Tahoe. Free shuttles up to Heavenly Ski Resort are just steps away. A car is recommended for exploring further (Emerald Bay, Sierra-at-Tahoe, Kirkwood, Fallen Leaf Lake).
That said, you'll be surprised how much you can do on foot or by bike from the Lake Trail Lodge: the lake, the marina, the trail network, and several restaurants are all walkable. If you're a biker, the entire South Shore becomes a playground from your front door.
The South Tahoe Express runs between the area and Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), and the Tahoe Transportation District runs local bus routes that connect major points on the South Shore. You can also use LakeLink (a free micro-transit option complete with its own app!) to navigate around the south shore of Lake Tahoe.
Please take your shoes off upon entering Lake Trail Lodge.
We are permitted to host up to 8 guests and 3 vehicles at Lake Trail Lodge. Up to 5 children aged 13 years old and under do not count in the total guest count.
You must be 25 years or older to book at a reservation at Lake Trail Lodge. Verification with a government issued ID is required.
A rental agreement and good neighbor contract are required to be completed and signed at booking.
Quiet hours in the City of South Lake Tahoe are 10pm to 8am.
