The house is cozy, comfortable, and beautifully set in the woods, but not too far from the ski resorts. There are thoughtfully laid out amenities, including toys and games for children which is a nice added touch. Would highly recommend this home for any traveling family to the Tahoe area. We had an amazing time at Stuga’66! The home was perfectly located with incredible views and just the right amount of privacy. April and team were wonderful communicators, and checking in and out was a breeze. The home had everything we needed, from an extremely well-stocked kitchen (which was perfect for cooking all our meals) to games/books/puzzles to keep us entertained. It was also very walkable, and we enjoyed taking the family and dogs down to the lake and to the local coffee/pastry shop. We had a great time and would highly recommend this to anyone in search of a relaxing Tahoe getaway!

What an incredible find! We wanted a home base to show our babies the snow for the first time and this house was so perfect for our two small families. The neighborhood is super quiet and the back of the house and a gorgeous unimpeded view of the snow covered mountains beyond. Having a well stocked, well appointed kitchen like this is a rarity on Airbnb, but was perfect for hosting two full dinners that we made here. The owners have been very thoughtful about hosting for families as there are lots of amenities for children including a really cute room with children's books. We are already looking into dates where we might be able to come stay here during the summer months.

What a gem! The house is beautifully bright — unusually so for Tahoe — with lovely views and a serene, almost retreat-like atmosphere. The attention to the design & detail is remarkable: hand cream in every bathroom, games for the kids, every little touch thoughtfully placed so you never have to look for anything. We hit major storms on the way up and the host was so accommodating and easy to communicate with throughout. That flexibility made all the difference. Highly recommend. Our group of 8 really enjoyed the house - we loved the games and puzzles that were there for our use and the vicinity to Heavenly. We appreciated April's responsiveness and the house was very well appointed. We would stay again and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Black Cabin! The location couldn’t be more convenient with Heavenly just down the road (literally walking distance), casinos nearby, and lots of restaurant options. The kitchen was well stocked too if you prefer to dine in. The cabin is very cozy with modern amenities and the beds are extremely comfortable. The cabin is very stylishly decorated and feels very homey. There are trails nearby where our dog was able to play in the snow. Feels like a home away from home

We had such an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was super nice — everything felt brand new and spotless. It’s a modern cabin with a really cozy vibe, which made it the perfect place to relax after a long day. The location couldn’t have been better just a quick 3-minute drive to the ski lift, which made getting to and from the mountain so easy and convenient. The hostesses were absolutely awesome super cool, very accommodating, and always quick to reply. They made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Honestly, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
